Jackson Wasik accounts for four touchdowns as Marauders pick up first win of 2026
Central State University finally got into the win column — and did it in emphatic fashion.
The Marauders overwhelmed Morehouse College 49–21 Saturday afternoon at B.T. Harvey Stadium, turning in their most complete offensive performance of the young 2026 season.
Central State quarterback Jackson Wasik was the catalyst, completing 13-of-16 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 68 rushing yards and another touchdown on eight carries. He accounted for four of the Marauders’ seven touchdowns.
Running back Isaiah Thompson also delivered a big performance, rushing 16 times for 112 yards and a touchdown. Kaleb Jenkins added 52 rushing yards and a score on eight carries.
The Marauders’ passing attack was equally productive. Khamari Adams caught three passes for 87 yards and a touchdown, while Avantae Burt added five receptions for 78 yards and a score.
Morehouse, meanwhile, struggled to keep pace with Central State’s explosive offense.
The Maroon Tigers managed three touchdowns but couldn’t slow the Marauders after Central State established control early.
The Game
Central State entered the matchup looking to erase the frustration of consecutive losses to Kentucky State and Grambling State. The Marauders did exactly that, jumping on Morehouse and never allowing the Maroon Tigers to regain control.
The victory also snapped Central State’s 0–2 start and gave the Marauders their first SIAC win of the season. The official SIAC schedule lists the final as Central State 49, Morehouse 21.

Wasik didn’t just throw the football effectively — he consistently created problems with his legs. His 247 passing yards, 68 rushing yards and four total touchdowns made him the clear offensive centerpiece.
Isaiah Thompson
Thompson gave Central State the balance it needed.
His 112 yards on 16 carries helped keep Morehouse from simply selling out to stop Wasik and the passing game.
Explosive Passing Game
